All theoretical instruction is delivered through the Hainan VA Academy Moodle platform. The curriculum consists of structured lessons supported by presentation materials, instructional videos, knowledge checks, and examinations. Assessments are aligned with FAA knowledge test standards to maintain academic quality and relevance.

Flight training is conducted in two formats. Dual instruction provides real-time guidance through shared cockpit software, allowing instructors to demonstrate procedures and supervise directly. Supervised solo training permits students to fly independently while instructors monitor performance using screen-sharing platforms such as Discord or the academy’s ACARS flight tracking system.
